One S. Choi is a dedicated Transactional Associate with a focus on counseling individuals and organizations on the legal issues generated by their business dealings and transactions. One drafts and negotiates various agreements, some of which include: asset purchases, real estate, stock transfers, membership interest purchases, shareholder agreements, and operating agreements. One also provides privacy guidance in connection with the current patchwork of privacy laws to clients involving financial, marketing, and data compliance He works with a corporation’s leadership to navigate any issues that the corporation might be facing, which typically involve shareholder disputes and an interpretation of corporate bylaws–and helps clients reach favorable resolutions. He also provides correspondence on behalf of automotive dealers to manufacturers to ensure that statutory rights are being afforded and reviews vendor contracts for clients to flag potential issues. One is passionate about providing comprehensive legal support to clients and ensuring their business and transactions meet all necessary requirements.

One received his Juris Doctor in 2022 from Southwestern University where he graduated in the top 12% of his class. One has also recently earned the esteemed designation of Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). One has owned and operated the Panorama Café, which sits on the 9th floor of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, since 2019 and is well acquainted with the struggles business owners face. There, One managed 13 employees and serviced the entire Stanley Mosk Courthouse, which is considered one of the largest courthouses in California. During law school, One externed for Ring, a subsidiary of Amazon, on joint Ring and Amazon initiatives with a focus on privacy related agreements. One also externed for Honorable Associate Justice Sabrina McKenna on the Hawaii Supreme Court and drafted bench memoranda detailing whether certiorari should be granted and sat in on oral arguments. One’s unique experience as a business owner gives him a unique insight into the struggles businesses face and brings more value to the advice he renders.

On a personal note, One enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with his wife and boston terrier, Olive. He also has a penchant for reading philosophy and technology books, with a particular interest in cryptocurrency and AI. To give back to the community, from 2018-2020, One provided 400 meals to high risk/disadvantaged children, half of whom were wards of the state.
